If GCU Faisalabad is where you are headed each morning, few places beat Al Haram for the walk — the campus is barely 350 metres away, a four-minute stroll from the hostel on Imam Bargah Road in Douglaspura. That alone makes it worth a look, but the study setup is what rounds it out: residents get their own study tables plus a dedicated study area, wardrobes to keep things in order, and even an iron and board for looking presentable, with a TV lounge to unwind in once the books are shut. Beds and mattresses come provided and Wi-Fi runs throughout, so a student can move in and get straight to work. Monthly rent spans a wide PKR 10,000 to 21,250, leaving room for different budgets and room types. The surrounding Jhang Bazar area is well served, with a police station, the district health office and a local mosque all within a couple of hundred metres, and everyday eateries close by. UoE Faisalabad is a little over two kilometres out for anyone studying there instead. For a GCU student who wants to study near campus without a daily commute, this one is hard to argue with.
