Staezy may use your location to show nearby hostels and relevant listings. You can enable or disable location access anytime from your device settings.

• Provide and maintain the app
• Help users find hostels and accommodation
• Improve app performance and user experience
• Communicate updates or important information
• Ensure security and prevent misuse

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information only in the following cases:

• With trusted service providers (e.g., hosting, analytics)
• If required by law or legal request
• To protect our rights and users

We value your trust and use reasonable security measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services. Each may collect information in accordance with its own privacy policy:

• Google Analytics (GA4) — anonymous usage and traffic statistics (pages visited, searches, actions like contacting a hostel). See the Google Privacy Policy; you can opt out with the GA opt-out browser add-on.
• PostHog — product analytics that help us understand how features are used. See the PostHog Privacy Policy.
• Google Sign-In and Facebook Login — optional sign-in methods; we receive your name, email and profile photo from the provider you choose.
• Vercel (website hosting) and our own API infrastructure, where your account data is stored.
• OpenStreetMap — map images shown on listing pages.

6. User Control, Data Retention & Deletion

You can:

• Update your information from your account page
• Disable location permissions
• Stop using the app anytime
• Delete your account and data — instantly from your account page, the Android app, or our Account & Data Deletion page

When you delete your account:

• Erased immediately: your name, email, phone number, password, profile photo; uploaded verification documents (CNIC images, business licenses, claim proofs — including the files themselves); saved favourites; AI-chat history; sign-in identities and all active sessions
• Anonymized: reviews you posted remain shown as “Deleted user”
• Reverted: hostel listings you owned become unclaimed — the property stays listed and re-claimable
• Retained: a non-identifying record (hashed identifiers only) as proof of deletion and for fraud prevention

If you cannot sign in, you can request deletion by email ([email protected]) or WhatsApp from your registered number — see the deletion page for details.

7. Children's Privacy

Staezy is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
