For a girl studying at VU Rawalpindi, few places make the daily walk as short as Al Jannat Girls Hostel does. The campus is just 390 metres away, a five-minute stroll through Satellite Town's D Block, so late-night study sessions don't have to end early to beat a long commute. Preston Islamabad and FAST Islamabad are further out, roughly 4 and 5.5 km respectively, for anyone travelling in the other direction. The setting itself is quietly residential, with Al Furqan Masjid nearby, Broadway Restaurant a short walk for when the mess menu doesn't tempt you, and both a police station and a Habib Bank branch within a few hundred metres. Speaking of the mess, meals are handled in-house at the dining hall, and residents get a proper study area with tables to spread out books and a laptop.
