For the girls staying here, a refrigerator on-site is more useful than it sounds — somewhere to keep leftovers, cold water, and the odd treat from home without a daily trip to the shop. That, along with wardrobes for organising clothes and filtered drinking water, gives the place a slightly more settled feel than the average student digs. The hostel is in Block F of New Katarian, Satellite Town, about a fourteen-minute walk (1.14 km) from VU Rawalpindi, with Preston Islamabad around 3.64 km and FAST Islamabad just under 5 km for residents commuting out to Islamabad. Beds and mattresses are provided so there's no furniture to arrange, and Wi-Fi keeps classes, lectures and family calls running smoothly. Monthly rent ranges from PKR 17,500 to PKR 31,250 depending on the room.
