Backpackers Hostel Islamabad keeps its promise simple and its rent flexible, ranging from PKR 27,500 to PKR 48,750 a month depending on the arrangement. It sits on the Main Margalla Road in Golra, E-11, out on the greener western edge of the city where the hills feel closer. The amenities are pared back to what matters: Wi-Fi to stay connected, on-site parking for anyone bringing a bike or car, and laundry so washing doesn't eat into study time. A mini market just 120 metres away covers day-to-day supplies, Golra Hospital is close should the need arise, and a minivan stop to G-9 within a two-minute walk plugs residents straight into the city's transport. Being on the outer rim, the university commutes are longer: VU Islamabad is the nearest at 3.77 km, about a 45-minute walk or a much quicker ride, with Muslim Youth University at 4.49 km and NUST at 4.85 km. That trade-off tends to suit students who value a quieter, more affordable base over being in the thick of a crowded sector, and who don't mind a short commute to campus.
