You would struggle to find a boys' hostel closer to the university gates than this one on Street 4 in Canal Town. The University of Peshawar is just 460 metres away, a six-minute walk, with Islamia College Peshawar essentially the same distance at 470 metres, meaning residents can time their morning almost to the minute. KMU is the outlier at around 5.45 km for anyone with lectures across town. The rooms come ready to live in: beds and mattresses are provided, geysers deliver hot water through the colder months, and filtered drinking water is on tap so you are not hauling bottles up the stairs. Wi-Fi keeps assignments, submissions and calls home flowing. Monthly rent ranges from PKR 16,250 to PKR 30,000, leaving room to pick according to what your budget allows for the term.
