Out toward Malir Cantonment, past Check Post No 3, Country Farm offers a different kind of Karachi stay, one with room to breathe rather than a room facing the next building. It sits on Deh Mehran land, a little removed from the city's density, which is exactly the appeal for guests who want quiet. Nightly rates range from PKR 16,000 to PKR 20,000, and the property comes with parking on site, a backup generator for the inevitable outages, and air conditioning to make the afternoons bearable. Beds and mattresses are provided, and Wi-Fi keeps you reachable even out here. The surroundings are calm and residential: the AlKhair Mosque, Tikon Park and the Malir Cantt Police Station are each a little over a kilometre away, and Cantt Broast is close by when you want a quick bite.
