NDU is a short distance beyond, so the location works for students split between the two. The setup here is deliberately simple rather than crammed with features: beds and mattresses come provided, there is a study area for exam season, and filtered drinking water is on tap, which spares girls the routine expense and hassle of buying bottled water. Wi-Fi runs through the building. What the sector itself offers rounds things out nicely, with a Bangali samosa spot down the lane for cheap evening snacks, a dental clinic and a First Women Bank branch nearby, and the Shaheed-e-Millat metro bus terminal just 400 metres off for getting across the city without a car.
