On the first floor above the Pak China restaurant on Street 8 in G-11/1, Fairyland operates as both a girls hostel and a guest house, which gives it flexibility for students settling in for a semester and shorter-stay residents alike. The kitchen is a genuine strength: a mess and dining hall means meals are taken care of, and filtered drinking water is available so nobody is lugging bottles up the stairs. Little touches like an iron and board on hand matter more than they sound when you are heading out for a viva or an interview and want to look presentable. Beds and mattresses come provided, geysers supply hot water, and Wi-Fi covers the floor. Campus-wise, VU Islamabad and NUST both sit under two and a half kilometres away, with Muslim Youth University close behind. The G-11 location is practical too, with a girls' model school around the corner, Ramna police station nearby, and a Bank of Punjab branch and a chemist within a short walk.
