Green View Guest House trades on its Murree setting, sitting on Abbottabad Road near Dariya Gali where the air is cool and the pace slows right down, an easy base for a few nights in the hills. Air conditioning is on hand for the warmer months, and when the mountain chill sets in, geysers keep the hot water reliable. Filtered drinking water is provided, beds and mattresses come ready, and Wi-Fi runs throughout so you can stay in touch even up here. A night costs between PKR 9,000 and PKR 14,000, which is reasonable for a hill-station stay. The surroundings are quiet and scenic rather than commercial: Jamia Masjid Usmania is about a kilometre away, and if you need it, Abbasi Hospital is roughly four kilometres out, as is the Government Post Graduate College. Chitta More lies a similar distance off. This is a stay for people who want to breathe, walk and wind down, families on a weekend escape or couples after a change of scenery, with just enough comfort in the rooms to make the mountain retreat feel effortless rather than rough.
