Artillery Maidan is one of the older, better-connected corners of central Karachi, and Hotel Al Bilal makes the most of it from its spot on Sohrab Katrak Road. Guests here get attached bathrooms in their rooms, along with air conditioning, a water cooler, and beds and mattresses already in place. A backup generator covers the power cuts, CCTV keeps an eye on the premises, and Wi-Fi runs throughout. Nightly stays are priced from PKR 14,500 up to PKR 23,000. Step outside and Sharjah Centre is right beside you, with the Al Saif Daewoo Express terminal about 60 metres away, handy for anyone arriving or heading onward by coach. Naubahar Restaurant is close for a meal, and the MALC Headquarters is just around the block. Visitors coming in for university work will find Bahria Medical Karachi and Bahria Karachi both about 3.29 km off, and Indus University near 4.3 km. All told, it's a solid central base with the extras that make a few nights comfortable.
