Perched on the fifth floor of City Towers on University Road, Hotel City View trades on exactly what its name suggests, and its University Town address keeps guests close to the pulse of that end of Peshawar. Nightly rates land somewhere between PKR 9,500 and PKR 13,500 depending on the room. What you get is dependable rather than showy: Wi-Fi throughout, beds and mattresses ready to go, and CCTV keeping an eye on things. Parking is available on site too, which is no small thing in a busy commercial stretch like this one. Students and visitors heading to ICP have it about two kilometres off, a walk of roughly twenty-four minutes, while the University of Peshawar sits a touch further at two and a half kilometres. The immediate neighbourhood is dense and useful: the Girl's College is practically next door, Sha Posh is a minute away, and Kuwait Teaching Hospital and Jahangir Abad Masjid are both a short stroll from the towers.
