Budget-minded students in I-8/2 tend to end up here, and the reason is the price: monthly rent starts at PKR 27,500 and tops out around PKR 36,250, comfortably below what much of the sector charges. What you get for it is deliberately no-frills but covers the essentials, Wi-Fi that works and an on-site cook so daily meals are handled rather than left to you and a hotplate. Preston Islamabad is the closest campus at 690 metres, a walk of about eight minutes; FAST Islamabad sits near 2.6 km and VU Rawalpindi around 3.4 km for those studying further afield. Getting around is painless too, the Khayaban-i-Johar metro station is under 200 metres away, which opens up the whole city without a car. Abu Huraira Mosque, a long-running local dhaba, and Islamabad Model College for Men H-9 are all a short walk. If your priority is keeping rent low while staying close to campus and public transport, this Islamabad hostel does exactly that without pretending to be more.
