Tucked inside Ayub National Park off GT Road, Jungle Barracks offers something the rest of the city rarely does: a room with greenery on the other side of the wall. That park setting is the whole appeal, and it comes with the comforts you would want after a day out, air conditioning in the rooms, provided beds and mattresses, and a TV lounge to wind down in. Wi-Fi keeps you connected and CCTV security covers the grounds. Nightly rates span a wide PKR 6,000 to PKR 12,500, giving room for different budgets. Being inside the park, the immediate neighbours reflect that, the Nawaz Memorial is a short walk off and Food Station Ayub Park is close for a bite, with a Bank Al-Habib roughly a kilometre out. Foundation University sits just over a kilometre away, and NUML Rawalpindi is a little beyond at around two.
