Out in Qalandarabad, on the Qalandar-abad stretch of Abbottabad, Maliks House works well for travellers who want a base close to the main road but away from the town centre bustle. Rooms come with beds and mattresses provided, geysers keep the hot water running through cooler months, and filtered drinking water is on hand so you needn't stock up on bottles. There's Wi-Fi for staying connected and parking if you've driven up. Nightly rates run between PKR 10,500 and PKR 14,500 depending on what you book. The location is handy for a few reasons: the Qalander-Abad City Main Masjid sits under a kilometre away, the Qalandar-abad stop is roughly the same distance for onward transport, and Bach Christian Hospital is within about a kilometre should you need it, with Mangal Police Station a couple of kilometres out. For anyone visiting the universities, Ayub Medical is around 7.7 km off and COMSATS Abbottabad about 8.3 km, so it's a reasonable drive rather than a walk. A straightforward, practical stay for guests passing through this side of the valley.
