Oriole Guest House keeps things flexible where it counts: rates stretch from PKR 11,500 all the way to PKR 23,000 per night, so there is room to match your budget to the trip. Find it on Street 55 in G-9/4, with air conditioning to see you through Islamabad's warmer months and geysers for hot water when the mornings turn cool. Attached bathrooms, beds and mattresses provided, and Wi-Fi round out the essentials. The immediate surroundings are wonderfully walkable — Punjab Chaat Palace is practically next door at just 20 metres, Al Muslim Pharmacy and Makki Masjid are a couple of minutes on, and the well-known Peshawar Morr is close for onward transport. Students and visiting families gravitate here for the campus access as much as the price: FAST Islamabad is about 850 metres away, roughly a ten-minute walk, while Preston Islamabad and Muslim Youth University each sit a little over two kilometres out. All told, it is a practical, easygoing place to stay in one of G-9's busier, better-connected pockets.
