Formanites Housing Scheme is a quieter, residential corner of Lahore, and this paid-guest arrangement gives visitors a comfortable footing there. Nightly rates range from PKR 9,000 to PKR 16,000, and the room comes well appointed: air conditioning for the heat, attached bathrooms for privacy, filtered drinking water on hand, and an iron and board for keeping clothes crisp. Wi-Fi runs throughout, beds and mattresses are provided, and there's a TV lounge to settle into of an evening. LUMS is the closest campus at 3.24 km, roughly a 39-minute walk, while Punjab University and ITU are both a longer trip out at around 9.3 km and 9.82 km. Close to home, the Park in Formanites Housing Society is a 340-metre walk, the Leads School System's Formanites Campus sits at 660 metres, and a Dunkin' is within reach a little further on. This suits guests who'd rather trade a central address for a calmer neighbourhood, particularly anyone with reason to be near LUMS and happy to have the amenities of a well-set-up private room.
