If your degree is at FAST Karachi, it's hard to do better than 280 metres from campus — a three-minute walk that all but eliminates the commute. Paradise Girls Hostel sits in Sector 17-A of Shah Latif Town, right beside the university, with the College of Sharia by Minhaj ul Quran and the Quetta Marhaba Restaurant close at hand and a Saturday Market nearby for weekend shopping. Given how far Shah Latif Town lies from the rest of the city, being planted right next to the university is exactly the advantage FAST students need. The facilities lean towards self-sufficiency. An on-site cook means home-style meals are handled, filtered drinking water is on tap, and a UPS keeps things running through the load-shedding that this part of Karachi knows well. Parking is available for anyone with a vehicle, and Wi-Fi covers the coursework. Beds and mattresses come provided. Rent falls between PKR 28,750 and PKR 38,750 a month. Dadabhoy University and Baqai Medical are a good distance off, so this one really earns its keep for FAST enrollees — a self-contained base within a few minutes' walk of the classroom.
