Air conditioning is standard in every room at Royal Continental, which counts for a lot in an Islamabad summer, and the shared TV lounge gives guests somewhere to gather in the evenings. The guest house occupies a quiet lane on Street 41 in F-6/1, with Pizza Party more or less at the doorstep and an MCB branch and a dental clinic within a couple of hundred metres for anything that crops up. Rooms arrive with beds and mattresses in place and attached bathrooms, Wi-Fi throughout, and filtered drinking water so nobody is chasing bottles. Nightly rates run PKR 12,500 to PKR 20,000. F-6 is one of the better-connected sectors for reaching campuses: UoL Islamabad is about a kilometre off, a thirteen-minute walk, and NDU is a little over a kilometre and a half, while Bahria Islamabad sits further out at just over four kilometres. The upshot is a comfortable, cooled base in a central sector that suits families, visiting professionals, or parents calling on a student, with the daily conveniences already sorted a stone's throw from the door.
