Power cuts are a fact of Lahore life, so the UPS backup here earns its keep, keeping fans and chargers running when the grid takes a break. Royal Hostal sits in Ali Block, Garden Town, a co-ed place that keeps things simple and reliable. ITU is the closest campus at around 1.45 km, a 17-minute walk, with Minhaj University about 2.49 km out and LCWU a longer haul at 4.65 km. The immediate strip is handy: Subway Garden Town and Samba Bank are both within 150 metres, Ghousia Triangle Park is right there for a breather, and CFE Group of Colleges is a short walk away. Inside, rooms come with beds, mattresses and wardrobes, and there's a shared study area for buckling down in the evenings, all under building-wide Wi-Fi. Monthly rent falls between PKR 37,500 and PKR 45,000, a fairly tight band that keeps things predictable. For ITU students especially, it's an unfussy, well-placed base in one of Garden Town's more convenient pockets, close to campus with the small comforts that make a long semester easier.
