If you tend to feel the Islamabad summer or the winter chill, Serenity Lodge in F-10/1 has you covered on both ends — the rooms come with air conditioning as well as geysers for hot water, a combination not every guest house bothers with. Beyond the climate control, guests get attached bathrooms, provided beds and mattresses, on-site parking, and a shared TV lounge that makes evenings feel a little more like home than a rented room usually does. Wi-Fi runs throughout. Rates are among the gentler on offer, from PKR 12,500 up to 16,500 per day. The immediate neighbourhood is reassuringly practical: IHS - Hospital for Children is only 200 metres away, Headstart Junior School and Islamabad Model College for Girls F-10/2 are both close, and a police station sits within a kilometre for peace of mind. VU Islamabad is roughly a nineteen-minute walk, and Muslim Youth University and FAST Islamabad are reachable if you have business at either campus. All told, it is a comfortable, well-equipped base for a longer stay in a settled part of the city.
