Three things jump out. One: budget supply lives north of the motorway — KP and the hill stations dominate, while the big Punjab cities sit at the bottom of the price-floor league. Kalam — 11 listings, refreshingly flat rates. Upper Swat is the rare market where prices are posted like a menu: Summer Queen Hotel Kalam and New Honey Moon Hotel & Restaurant both list a flat Rs 3,000/night, no seasonal theatrics. Faisalabad — 11 listings from Rs 4,000. West Inn Hotel at Rs 4,000-7,500 is the value pick; RizQ Hotel runs Rs 4,500-10,500, while Grand Regent Hotel and Suites and Hotel The One both start at exactly Rs 5,000.

The wide ranges in the table aren't sloppy data entry — they're seasonality, printed. Hindukush Sarai Chitral lists Rs 2,000-15,900/night, roughly an 8x swing on one property. Naran Hills Hotel spans Rs 3,000-15,000. Same bed, different month. Four timing rules:
