G-11/3 doesn't always get the attention F-sector addresses do, but for guests wanting a well-connected, down-to-earth stay it's hard to fault, and this lodge, just off Main Ibne Seena Road, puts you close to VU Islamabad at around 1.5 km and Muslim Youth University a little over 2 km. FAST Islamabad is a longer 3.3 km run. The flat-style rooms come with beds, mattresses and attached bathrooms, geysers handle the hot water, and there's parking on site for anyone arriving by car. Wi-Fi runs throughout. Nightly rates land between PKR 14,500 and PKR 22,500, leaving room to choose according to budget. The immediate surroundings are convenient in an everyday way: a Jamia Masjid Muzammil and an Allied School are both within a couple of hundred metres, and a community dastarkhawan sits right at the doorstep. For visitors who care more about a practical, sensibly priced room near the G-11 universities than about a fashionable postcode, Durrani Lodges does the job well.
