Food and study are the two things this Gulshan-e-Jamal hostel gets right. There's a mess where residents eat together, taking the daily worry of meals off your plate, and rooms come fitted with study tables so there's always a proper place to sit and work rather than a bed doubling as a desk. Prestige Boys Hostel occupies the second floor of a building in Block B, near Lavish Dine Restaurant, and adds the essentials you'd expect — Wi-Fi throughout, geysers for hot water, and beds and mattresses already provided so you can move in without fuss. Monthly rent spans a fairly broad PKR 22,500 to PKR 40,000, leaving room to choose according to budget. Everyday errands are simple here: Allied Bank is a couple of minutes away, Masjid Al Hilal is close, and there's an ATM within easy reach. The universities take a bit of getting to — SSUET and FUUAST are both around three kilometres, roughly thirty-six minutes on foot, with IBT Karachi further out — so it suits a student happy to trade a short commute for sorted meals, a real desk and a settled, well-served neighbourhood.
