Karachi beach huts rent by the day, not the night. The standard booking is a single-day slot — you arrive mid-morning, hand over the balance, and clear out by evening unless you've arranged an overnight stay in advance. Almost everything happens on WhatsApp: you message the caretaker or booking office, they send photos and confirm the date, and you lock it with a part-advance (typically a third to half of the rate) via bank transfer, JazzCash or Easypaisa. Carry your CNIC — caretakers routinely note it down at handover.
Dedicated booking operations make this simpler. Karachi Beach HUTS (Booking Office) handles hut allocations from PKR 6,500-16,000 per day depending on the hut and the date, which saves you the classic mistake of paying a roadside agent for a hut he doesn't control. Book at least a week out for weekends; long weekends and Eid holidays disappear a month in advance. Weekdays, by contrast, can often be confirmed a day or two before.
One rule of thumb that saves arguments later: confirm in writing what your rate includes — generator hours, caretaker service, and your exit time. Huts don't run on check-in desks; they run on whatever was agreed in the chat.
